The Calvary Quartet’s mission is to produce traditional, soul-stirring Gospel music. Our musical repertoire includes hymns, convention songs, traditional Gospel songs, bluegrass and Southern Gospel favorites from the classic era of Gospel music. We have two basic goals in our ministry:
Through our traveling ministry we desire to provide quality Gospel music for local churches, Christian schools, and evangelistic campaigns. Our mission is to prepare hearts for the preaching of God’s Word.
Through quality Gospel music recordings we strive to provide music that ministers to hearts and encourages believers in their personal walk with Christ.
Our History
Under the direction of Terry Snow, The Calvary Quartet began singing together in 1994 to provide special music at his local church. In 2000 he began to receive requests from other churches to sing for special church events. For the past 30 years, we have been able to provide special music for church events such as church anniversaries and homecomings as well as special evangelistic services. We are not a full-time traveling ministry but rather travel on weekends to sing primarily for Sunday church services.
Our traveling ministry is supported by the churches where we minister, with each church covering the traveling expenses of our team.
Our goal in ministry is to be a help and to encourage pastors as they seek to maintain a vibrant Godly music program in their church. We strive to be a ministry within the local church and not to entertain.
